• HUB CITY ATHLETICS (HCA) / HUB CITY PRIDE (HCP)

    PROGRAM & FEE OVERVIEW

More Than Basketball. Building Athletes. Building Character. Building Community.

Hub City Athletics (HCA) is built on a Christian foundation, with a commitment to developing the whole athlete—physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.

Through Hub City Pride (HCP) teams, athletes will have opportunities to train, compete, build relationships, and grow in character while learning the values of faith, integrity, discipline, teamwork, leadership, and service.

Our program fees help provide the facilities, equipment, training, competition, and resources necessary to create a quality experience for every HCA athlete.

    HCA ORGANIZATION

    AAU Fees

Annual AAU fees provide HCP teams with access to sanctioned AAU events, insurance for eligible events, and the ability for HCA to host AAU-sanctioned tournaments.

    Practice Facilities

Quality practice space can cost approximately $60–$75 per hour. HCA collects Winter and Spring/Summer program fees to help secure consistent practice facilities for our teams.

    Practice & Game Uniforms

HCA team fees help cover practice and game jerseys.

    • Game jerseys remain the property of HCA and must be returned when a player leaves the organization.
    • Practice jerseys are custom made and belong to the player.

    Winter & Summer Leagues

    • Silver Package: Covers Winter League participation and team practice time.
    • Gold Package: Covers Summer League participation and team practice time.

    Equipment

Program fees help HCA maintain and replace essential equipment, including basketballs, practice pennies, cones, whistles, and other training equipment.

    HCA Website & Technology

HCA maintains a website and contact management system to communicate with families, manage players and teams, connect with prospective athletes, and maintain a history of HCA accomplishments.

    Corporation & Operating Expenses

As a nonprofit organization, HCA has annual administrative, insurance, technology, registration, and other operating expenses necessary to keep the organization running.

    HCP TEAM EXPENSES

    Tournament Fees

Each HCP team is responsible for budgeting for the tournaments it participates in throughout the season.

HCA may cover at least one tournament per team when operating funds allow. Tournament costs may also be reduced through:

    • Team fundraising
    • Club-hosted tournaments
    • Sponsorships
    • Parent volunteer participation

Our goal is to reduce the amount families pay out of pocket whenever possible.

    HCA PLAYER EXPENSES

    Player Uniform

Each HCP player/family is responsible for purchasing the required game uniform (jersey and shorts).

    Team Bag — Optional

Players may purchase an HCA/HCP team bag for practices, tournaments, and team travel.

    HCA Program Fees

Each HCP player is responsible for the applicable Winter and Spring/Summer HCA program fees. These fees support the organization's general operating costs and help provide the facilities, training, leagues, equipment, and opportunities included in the HCA program.

    OUR COMMITMENT

HCA is committed to providing more than an opportunity to play basketball.

We want to create an environment where athletes can compete at a high level, develop their skills, build lasting relationships, and grow in faith and character.

Our goal is simple: develop better athletes, better teammates, better leaders, and better people—built on a Christian foundation.
