Fees, Fundraising & Tournament Costs
Hub City Athletics (HCA) uses membership and program fee revenue to secure group rates for practice facilities, summer and winter leagues, and other team opportunities.
Tournament Fees & Financial Support
- Tournament fees are the responsibility of each Hub City Pride (HCP) team.
- HCA may host one or two tournaments per team when possible. Hosting tournaments can help reduce the overall tournament cost for participating families.
- When available, excess HCA revenue may be used to help sponsor tournament fees for HCP teams or provide financial assistance to individual HCP players.
- HCA expects each family to participate in club- or team-sponsored fundraising activities and events. These efforts are designed to reduce the overall tournament cost for families.
- Families who choose not to participate in required fundraising or team-sponsored events may not receive the same share of tournament fee reductions generated through those activities.
Team Tournament Planning
- Each HCP coaching staff will provide families with an estimated tournament budget for the fiscal year/season.
- Each HCP team manager will work closely with the coaching staff, HCA, and team families to develop a fundraising and tournament-cost reduction strategy.
- The goal of each team's fundraising efforts will be to reduce—and, when possible, eliminate—the tournament fee paid by individual families.
Important: Tournament fee estimates are based on a full team roster and are subject to change based on tournament selection, roster size, travel requirements, fundraising results, and other factors.
